realestate.com.au’s John Healy says the extended lockdowns have done little to dampen buyer demand in Sydney and Melbourne.
“Just this week the REA Insights housing market indicators actually found that demand when based on views per listing for properties for sale actually hit record highs in August,” Mr Healy told Sky News Australia.
“It was up nearly 47 per cent year on year, and that came just ahead of the delay to the spring selling season in those lockdown markets.”
